About Me

Then...

Hey, my name is Christie. I moved from Michigan to New York City four years ago after I got accepted to Parsons the New School for Design. Living in this city definitely hasn't been easy, but it's been worth the hard work. When I first got here I kept asking myself how I was going to do it all, let alone afford to do anything. I managed to find myself a job waitressing to put myself through school, and pay my rent. Looking back on it I don't know how I ever did it! I've since graduated, and I live in a little apartment with my boyfriend and our dog Gage.

...Now

Right now I'm trying to navigate through life and figure out what I want to do. I started this blog to help me in my search because I didn't have much time for myself while I was in school. I think good things come out of pursuing what you're passionate about, so this is an inspirational outlet for myself, and a place where I can hopefully inspire others to do things they never thought they were capable of.

My Style

I'm a big fan of bold, edgy looks, which is probably why my hair is purple. Words that describe my style are: sexy, rock, dark, romantic, and rebellious. I definitely like to do things my own way (like my hair), because I think someone else would just fuck it up. I feel most comfortable wearing black and I can't stand pink.
